A Letter With My Favorite Quotes
Written by Andrew_McFarlaneI recall being in high school when I had a teacher hand me a small piece of paper with a number of really powerful quotes on it. I kept this paper in my wallet for some years and reflected on it often. It was such a simple yet profound gift. I am not sure he will really ever know the impact that it had on my life.
Many mornings I wake up and I write letters that I will give to people that day via the Give Love Chain. One of the main reasons I love to do this is because I often times will connect with people in cafes, coffee shops or other public places for a brief moment and I love having something that I can give them to expand on the love that I feel at that time.
Part of the reason I love great quotes is because I experience them as powerful distillations of truth. Because of their simplicity it really has a way of almost becoming more meaningful the more we reflect on them.
In the spirit of sharing wisdom through quotes I wanted to share this post. Here are some of my favorite quotes that I wrote in my letter this morning…
